About Naathan
Naathan Phan was born Nathan Bao Quoc Gia Phan in Anaheim,
CA on August 20, 1988 when he leapt off of the cocktail napkin on
which his parents had doodled after having far too much to drink.

If one were to attempt to define Naathan in non-cartoon terms, the
phrase "Jack of All Trades" would comes to mind.  He is
renowned for being an accomplished:

writer, SAG actor, theatrical player, singer,
dancer, stuntman, comedian, celebrity
impressionist, magician, balloon twister, and Eagle
Scout.

MORE ON ME...

In the Summer of 2002, I auditioned for the immensely prestigious Orange County High School of the Arts
and was accepted into the Creative Writing program.  For four years I focused the majority of my studies into
screenwriting, short stories, poetry, stageplays, and songwriting, but also took classes in acting,
improvisation, dancing (tap/jazz/ballet) and foreign languages
(Latin/Italian/French/Russian/Spanish/German), while training myself in the areas of vocal mimicry (i.e.
dialects/accents/impressions), stuntwork, and singing in addition to my academics, knowing the importance of
these other aspects to performing and the role they would play if I was to ever stand a chance in the world of
either film or theatre.

I am currently attending Fullerton College where I am majoring in Musical Theatre.

As an actor, I am keen on breaking the mold of Asian-American actors and their role in both film and
theatre...  And from the looks of my resume (and brief list of ex-girlfriends), I think I'm off to a brilliant start.

I have been described as a "chameleon", "renaissance man", and "uber-actor", lauded for my youthful
energy and yet, old soul.  ...But don't take other peoples' word for it, meet me and find out.

01. What is your favorite word?
- “Ad-lib”

02. What is your least favorite word?
- “Whatever...”

03. What turns you on creatively?
- Excellence.

04. What turns you off?
- Intentional ignorance, in other words,
the refusal to understand another.

05. What is your favorite curse word?
- I don't like cursing, but for the sake of
answering the question: "Bastard".

06. What sound or noise do you love?
- Singing.

07. What sound or noise do you hate?
- Same thing that everyone hates: the
alarm clock.

08. What profession other than your own
would you like to attempt?
- Teacher.

09. What profession would you not like to
do?
- Doctor. While I love helping people, in
that profession, you inevitably come
across people who are beyond help... and
I could not bear that. I can’t even imagine
having to tell someone that their loved
one has died.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like
to hear God say when you arrive at the
Pearly Gates?
- “She’s waiting for you...”
